A Split Ring is a double wire ring similar to a traditional key ring. They are best used to link or loop onto, and are great to use in sections of your project/creation/piece where you do not want wire or links to slip through the opening that can occur on a Jump Ring. All of our Split Rings have Brass as a Base Metal and are Lead Free & Nickel Free
Note: They are NOT designed be opened like a key ring or spring due to the fact that the soft metal will not return to its original shape when stretched.
